Humans are Weird âKeep them Warm pt. 3âł
Part three guys. We are almost there. Hopefully I will be able to get out some other stories in the next week, and probably another chapter of the book, but for now this is going to have to do :). Hope you guys like it.Â
He woke up flat on his back staring up at the ceiling. It was dark, but that was expected when you were living on a space station. Hand to his head, he sat up and rubbed his eyes becoming aware of a now-familiar sensation tugging at the skin of his stomach and sides.Â
It had been almost a month since he had been stuck with the alien eggs, feeding off him for support, and in that time he had grown a greater appreciation for women and pregnancy, not to say that what he was experiencing was in any way close, but it did have elements that were rather similar.Â
Testing had concluded a likely series of events, which had lead to this strange ability by the adaptids. It appeared as if the original Adaptids had had the usual binary gender system that you see in many species, a male, and a female, and at that time, their eggs had been primarily parasitic until hatching. It may have been, that, originally, they laid their eggs on other species, and a few of the eggs would survive. However, when they met the original version of the host gender, the situation had turned out to be mutually beneficial for both of them. The more mutually supportive, the more the hosts evolved to help the adaptids. Eventually a line of DNA acquisition allowed the host to pass on its DNA through the parasitic eggs.
Over time, this ability had allowed the adaptids to incorporate other species into their genetic code successfully breeding in desired traits. They probably hadnât been a species that was originally intended for sentience, but their ability to adapt had changed things.Â
It was concluded that the use of a human for adaptids evolution was an inevitability and not an accident. The queen had probably intended to do what she did the moment she saw them, it was in their nature to do so.
For him, the tradeoff wasnât so bad, he supposed. Granted he had what could best be described as an absolutely MASSIVE tic, but one that allowed him to eat whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.Â
As far as his newfound appreciation for pregnant women, that came with his inability to sleep on his stomach, strange and sometimes unnerving cravings, random nausea, and, recently, an extreme sensitivity to smell, not to mention the almost compulsive need people felt to touch the eggs whenever they saw them.Â
The smell though, that was the worst thing. Whatever this was, it wasnât simply a distaste for specific smells, but he swore on his life that he could Smell things he shouldnât have been able to smell.
He stood up, stretched and walked over to the viewing window pressing the button to open the shutters on his way past bathed suddenly in the light of Jupiterâs stormy red eye. He paused there looking out at the view. He took a deep breath closing his eyes and smiling to himself. Not many people get to live their dream, not many people become what they wanted to be as a kid.Â
He was incredibly lucky.
A knock at the door startled him from his musings.
Speaking of incredibly luckyâŠ.
âCome in!â He called wandering over to the side of the room to grab a glass of water.
THe door hissed open, and Sunny stepped into the room, ducking under the short door frame before it hissed closed behind her. She glanced towards the window, âWHo the hell decided to give you the executive suite.âÂ
He smirked, âpretty suite view, Isnât it.âÂ
âWhere do you want this.â She wondered holding the breakfast trey before her.
âUhâŠ. just set in on the side table there.â He said stepping into the bathroom and closing the door with a sharp hiss.
Sunny heard the water turn on, âKrill wants to see you this morning.â She called, a little louder so he could hear it.â
âDoesnât surprise me.â The man called back as he angrily tried to adjust the water temperature. He swore it only ever got lukewarm especially of those mornings he just wanted to scald the first layer of his skin off.
When that wasnât enough, he turned off the water and got dressed eventually returning to his room where Sunny sat over a large bowl of salad. Luckily, the Drev, as herbivores, were capable of eating certain types of earth food. It was a real monetary plus as thousands of dollars were spent simply trying to keep the humans fed, much less their alien counterparts.
He sat down next to her and sniffed at the air, âPancakes, syrup butter, and orange juice.â
She raised an eyebrow at him, âAm I really that predictable.â
He shrugged, âWell there are only so many breakfast options, but I could smell it.âÂ
She looked skeptical, âYou can smell orange juice.â
He sniffed at the air, âYou canât? Itâs pretty strong.â
âNot a human, remember.â
He gave a rueful smile, âWhoopse, sometimes i forget.âÂ
He pulled the lid off the top of the breakfast dish, and was hit in the face with a rather strong smell of breakfast. Luckily it wasnât unpleasant, but it was surprisingly overpowering, and he had to shake himself a few times to dissipate the smell, âWow, thatâs strong.â
She eyed him again in confusion, âThe smell of pancakes isâŠ. Strong?â
âEven YOU should be able to smell it.â
When she didnât he finally let it go and ate his breakfast. IT tasted pretty good, more flavorful than usual, but he supposed that was partially due to the strength of the smell.
While he was eating, Sunny leaned over and pulled up the side of his shirt to examine the eggs. He let her. When other people did it, it was kind of annoying, but he was generally ok with sunny doing what she wanted, they were friends enough for that.
âDo theyâŠ. Look bigger or is it just me.â
He shook his head, âEggs donât grow, Sunny. They are a little bit heavier though, which is a bitch on my back.â
Sunny grunted and sat back in her chair, âHave you shown the admiral.â
He snorted, âYou should have seen the look on her face. I think I may have just given her nightmares for a few weeks.â
The Commander finished up his breakfast, and together He and Sunny stepped out of the room and made their way down the hall. It took them longer than they intended to reach their desired destination, as everyone in their dog had to stop and take a look. Despite the supposed âprivacyâ he was entitled to based on medical procedure, his condition had spread around the station like wildfire. He was no longer âthe commanderâ but the guy âwith the eggsâ or (erroneously) âThe guy who hooked up with an alien spider.Â
The amount of times he had to explain was starting to get a little old, but whatever. Those who didnât want to touch, wanted to ask a million questions, and vise versa. Occasionally there were those who fit into both camps.
As he was doing this, he began to notice something strange. Sometimes less strange and more disgusting.
He sniffed at the air after one of the guys finally left to be on his way wrinkling his nose, âThat guy did NOT shower today.â
Sunny glanced over at him, âI thought some humans only showered every-other day.â
âWell they SHOULD be doing it every day.âÂ
The more people they met the more issues he began to have. Floods of aftershave, perfume and flowery deodorant. When they didnât smell like soap, they smelled like body odor, and when they didnât smell like that, they smelled like the last thing they had eaten. He rubbed at his temples as the headache began throbbing slowly at the back of his skull.
âAre you ok?â Sunny wondered
They had finally made it down the hall and into the docking bay.Â
Stepping through the doors into the massive room, The commander was hit by an absolutely stifling wave of ol, grease, solvant, BO, and paint. He grew lightheaded and had to reach out and steady himself against Sunnyâs arm as they walked down the length of the room. She glanced over at him nervously, but he only shook his head at her covering his nose with one hand as they made their way across the deck and to their ship, docked at the other end.
The station was an absolutely massive piece of engineering, probably the size of a large city, and being added onto every day. While it wasnât likely to ever reach anything near the size of something like, say, the Death Star, it would still probably end up very large.
The Harbinger looked almost tiny compared to the room that surrounded it.
Adam was relieved when they were finally inside, and the outside smells had all but dissipated. Walking next to him, Sunny escorted him up to the medical bay where Dr. Katie and Krill were already hard at work.Â
Stepping through the doors, Adam was suddenly assaulted by the pungent smell of disinfectant and isopropyl (Rubbing Alcohol). The smell was so strong that it made him momentarily light headed. He swayed on his feet hand to his head, and Sunny was forced to steady him. âAdam, Adam, are you ok.â
The room spun around him as the smell intensified. He leaned heavily against Sunny as the room echoed, the headache intensified.Â
Voices rose and fell around him, and it seemed as if he tilted sideways in slow motion. Something stopped him from falling to the floor, and he vaguely recognized Sunnyâs armored arms holding him up.
âGet him to one of the beds.â Krill ordered.
âNo⊠no I think he said something about the smell.â Sunny protestedÂ
Dr. Katie interjected, âThen letâs get him into the other room,â\
He momentarily blacked out here, but woke a few minutes later with the smell, mostly, absent and a pounding headache. âCommander, Commander are you ok.â A light flashed from one eye to the other, and he tried to wave them off.
âI, Iâm okâŠ. Just got a bit dizzy there for a second.â
âYour blood pressure is normal.â Commented Dr. Katie
âYeah, but did you bleach the entire building this morning,'' he moaned. âI feel like my eyes are going to singe out of my head.â
The two looked back and fourth between each other and him, âWhat do you mean Commander,â Katie asked, âIt smells just like it normally does.â
He shook his head, âGuess againâŠ. Can we just to the exam here. I canât go back in there.â
They were clearly worried, but they agreed to humor him, allowing him to lay back and rest his head. He could smell Dr. Katie's perfume. He would have said that it smelled like cinnamon accept for the chemical aftertaste that it left lingering. Her breath was sharp with mint, but even under that he could tell she had a chocolate chip muffin for breakfast.
He decided against mentioning it seeing as it might sound a bit creepy.
He tried focusing on something other than the smells while the two of them took a look at the eggs, and where they had adhered to the skin.Â
âNothing appears abnormal.â Krill commented, âSkin color is fine,â
âAre you having any other strange symptomes?â Dr. Katie wonderedÂ
âHungryâŠâŠ been craving for red meat ... Probably protein or ironâŠ. And then there is the smellâŠ.. Oh and ive been unusually cold lately.âÂ
Checking his temperature, they didnât find anything abnormal and drew some blood to make sure there weren't any problems hiding under the surface they just couldn't see.
***
As for the smell, that was only getting worse. He had gone onto the bridge to finish off his work, and was bombarded on all sides by perfume aftershave toothpaste, deodorant, body odor and breakfast hours old.
His head throbbed.
He stood, âAlright, everyone get the hell out.â The crew turned to look at him with confusion.
âCommander?â
âYou heard what I said, get the hell out, and take a shower, all of you.â
They looked between each other confused, âI donât understand-â
âWhat part of go take a damned shower donât you understand/â
The crew stood, not entirely sure what was going on, âIs everything ok commander?â Someone asked
He groaned a bit, âYou all stink to high heaven.â
It was to Sunnyâs amusement that almost the entire rooms turned to sniff at themselves discreetly appearing puzzled.
âThe perfume and aftershave and the lotion. It has to go. I have the biggest headache you wouldnât believe.â
âYou can smell my deodorant from here?â One of the men wondered skeptically.
âYeah I can tell it stopped working about an hour ago.â That left the guy frowning as he turned to the other crew members, âVanilla, leather and musk, poder, strawberry, chlorine from the station pool, and you, you had onions in your breakfast.
âYou canât seriously smell that from here.â One of the crewmember pointed out.
âLet me break this down to you. I can smell EVERYTHING.â\
A few of the crew-members began to look a little nervous, âEverything, sir. The lieutenant wondered.â
He looked at her, expression a little softer, and a tad more long suffering, âyes crewmanâŠ. everything .â
She exited the room rather judiciously as did a few other members of the crew still sniffing at themselves, less discreetly now than before, âNo perfume, no aftershave, only odorless deodorant, please.â When they were all gone, Commander Vir slumped down in his seat with a groan and a shiver, âWhy does it always have to be so cold in here.â| Sunny glanced at the internal ship readings on her console, âAdam, its like 75 degrees in here, and may I remind you that you have specifically told everyone that if they touch the thermostat you are going to make them sleep next to the engine room.â
He spun in his seat rubbing his arms with the chill, âHmm, the engine room. Doesnât sound half bad.
Sunny frowned, âAdam, its like 120 degrees just off the engine room.
âPerfect.â he muttered
***
When the crew finally returned from their ministrations, they found the commander missing. Sunny, who had stepped out for a few moments, only to find the Commander gone when she got back had no idea where he had gone.
He was finally located about three hours later curled up on the floor of one of the auxiliary engine hallways. Heat directly around the core could reach dangerous levels, so he had chosen one of the outlying hallways. Even so, it was about 123 degrees, and dehydration had started to set in. He was eventually brought back to the medical bay where Krill acquired some heating blankets.
Over the next few weeks, his symptoms only got worse and even more strange. He was hungry all the time, and always cold. He was often seen seeking out warm areas to curl up and bask like some sort of lizard. Krill was forced to implement a makeshift heating room near the infirmary to avoid allowing him to wander off into more dangerous areas. His ability to smell at this time became uncanny and seemingly impossible for a human. He could smell the very chemicals used to make certain types of perfume. Usually he knew what a person had for their last meal, and even the one before that. He even claimed to be able to smell hormone levels on the other humans, and, as far as they were concerned, he hadnât been wrong.Â
It became such an issue that he was practically forced into a smelless sterile environment for his own health.Â
If that wasnât enough, he was practically taken out by the back pain caused by the weight of the eggs supported by the most unstable part of the spine, especially in men, who did not have the anatomical assistance in carrying weight on that part of their bodies, like women do. It probably didnât help that ever doctor aboard the ship wanted a look at him for scientific purposes.
As far as his personal life went, one of his brothers had caught wind of the situation, and he dared not guess what was going to happen when he called them up next. He could really only share these worries with Sunny seeing as she was the only creature on the ship, aside form Krill, who didnât carry any noticeable sent, unless you counted spinach and some fruit to be overpowering smells.Â
If Krill was right, the creatures were due to hatch almost any day now.
And no one was entirely sure what was going to come out when they did.Â

Bonz Fan Fiction Ch. 15
Record Shop Madness
Laurie awoke at the nature cottage at about 8:30am. She looked at John asleep peacefully beside her and decided to get a hot shower while he slept. She accomplished that
quietly, then lay back down next to him. He looked so innocent and irresistible laying there with his gorgeous fluffy head of hair partially covering his face. His lovely eyelashes were so long and thick, his lips were perfect, just pink and full and delicious looking. She was hoping for a taste of those once he woke up. But, settled for just gazing at him during this moment of quiet. She dozed off for another hour maybe, against him, since he radiated such warmth. The comfort of laying right against his warm body, knowing the kindness he had inside him, gave Laurie so much comfort and security. She had been lulled by his presence into the additional slumber.
During the delightful rest, as she gently awoke, she felt the sensation of something, someone maybe, warm and soft against her mouth. Her eyes started to flutter open, and she realized immediately it was John Henry, kissing her lips with the softest touch imaginable. Barely touching her, his delicious mouth was just enjoying the beauty and the velvety feel of her wonderful lips. Which he just adored. He whispered to her, âI didnât mean to wake you, my beauty. I just craved your luscious lips with a need so strong, I couldnât keep away. I had no choice but to give in and have myself a little taste and feel of them. And I assure you, they didnât disappoint. I hope you arenât annoyed, my love. âÂ
âAnnoyed ?â she asked. âHow could I ever be annoyed by feeling kisses the moment I wake, from the most gorgeous sexy man Iâve ever seen ?â His mouth turned into a glorious grin as the sweet compliment absorbed into his imagination. He wasnât used to being treated so lovingly, so adoringly by any woman. He wasnât used to being so appreciated, as a man, before. He was tingling with feelings of love. No one had every loved him the way Laurie did, and Lord above, did it ever suit him well. âMy angel, I canât even find words to tell you how fantastic you make me feel. And I havenât felt this good my entire life with anyone, till I found you, darling.â And he surrounded her in his arms and showered her neck and face with the most delicious loving wet kisses a woman could ever want. He had his muscular arms around her shoulders and her back, his big hands held her smaller frame tightly against himself. And the smell of him, first thing in the morning was insanely attractive to Laurie. It was a nice smell, a tiny bit of musk scent in there. He just smelled like a man, is all. And it was an incredible scent as far as Laurie was concerned. Just the natural scent of a manly man.Her attraction for him was through the roof, any time of the day.Â
After a morning of kissing and caressing each other and sweet words of love, finally they were dressed and ready for a day together at the cottage retreat. It was earthy and relaxed, and beautiful scenery of an untouched nature surrounded them there. First, they headed down an unpaved dirt path to the main cottage. Once arrived, they were greeted by two kind women and one man, running a glorious breakfast service there, for the guests. Laurie and John were treated like old friends by the group, and were served with such friendliness and warmth, they felt they must come back soon again, on a future get away. First served orange juice and champagne breakfast cocktails, piping hot robust coffee, then an unbelievable plate of hot scrambled eggs with bacon and homemade hot cakes with warmed syrup. And homemade jams to top it off. After they finished, they had to rest awhile, in order to digest. So they sat in the sun outside on the porch, in some comfortable cushiony rocking chairs for awhile. Just talking and sipping cold lemonade and laughing softly. Once their energy returned, they were guided toward some old fashioned row boats, on the dock at the lake. The day was fresh, not hot. The lake sparkled like crystal, as he helped her into the boat, using two hands to hold hers. Next, he stepped in and detached the rope from the holds on the dock, and grabbed the oars. âJust relax my love, Iâm going to row us to an unbelievable area I visited once, when I was here before. It was for a creative writing expedition with the group.â
He began to row, and Laurie observed the muscles in his shoulders, arms and chest tightening and relaxing as he did. Rippling, right through his shirt. Whew. Someone needs to get me a fan, she thought. His body was spectacular, in her view. He was a sight. He pointed out various trees and points of interest to her, as she smiled and remained quiet. The delicate flowering beauty surrounding them was like paradise. She felt like it was a delicious dream. It was Springtime now, and the views of the newly blooming spring flowers were a beauty to behold. John rowed them first through the main part of the lake, then, made a few sharp turns, at openings in the woods, which werenât obvious to the eye. They were hidden entrances through the thick foliage, which he knew from his earlier visit here. The mystery and the intensity of the surroundings increased, the deeper they ventured into the wilderness. She was in awe that a place so unknown was located only a half hour or so into the countryside from their home. The stream they floated upon now, was lined by flowering pinks trees. Upon which many loose petals had descended atop the water. It was incredible.
The intensity of the color astounded her. The site of it brought a few tears to her eyes, she was so overwhelmed by the beauty, and also that she had the man she loved beside her. And he was the one who had brought her here to experience this, and to entertain her. Finally they arrived to the destination he had in mind. It was an open meadow, deep inside the greenery, with a steep tall rock at the bank of the water. There, was an easy convenient mark, to which to tie the boat and oars off securely to dock. John took off
his shoes and stepped barefoot into the cool shallow water. He held his two manly arms out to Laur, which she happily gripped on to. He helped her off the vessel, preventing her from receiving even one drop of water on her at all. Such an incredible, caring gentleman. He wasnât trying, or striving to impress her, with sticking to manners. This came naturally to him. Growing up, loving his mom and sister, always watching out for their safety and happiness. This was a given practice in his world, not a luxury. Once his love was securely on land, he reached in the boat for the cooler and the blankets, and they scouted forward for a place to get comfortable. For Laurie, this day and weekend was shaping into one of the most enjoyable and exciting outings of which sheâd ever taken part.

Sexy Zone Q&A â 14 honest answers
Q1. Whatâs your favourite fashion coordination?
Shori: I like a clean, smooth and simple style. When winter comes I donât really use small things like scarves, I rather combine my outfit with a cute coat. Kento: Recently, I like a refreshing tuck in around the waist. Fuma: From oversized tops and skinny jeans with sneakers to a formal style with a shirt and tuck in, I like wearing various styles depending on my mood. Marius: I think L.A. fashion. It feels casual but also trendy. A t-shirt with shorts and then just a shirt on top, I like a rough style like that. Sou: Guys in Harajuku do that a lot, they often wear genderless fashion that is also okay for girls to wear. Iâm getting into that kind of style, I wonder if thatâs Masuda-kunâs strong influence~
Q2. In private, which item do you want to purchase?
Shori: A new compass to attach to my bicycle. Although itâs working together with my navi, I donât need detailed routes to know my direction, so I can enjoy nature while cycling. Kento: Coloured sunglasses. Maybe with blue lenses. You can see better through them than through black lenses. Even when I attach them to my chest it will be on point. Fuma: To change my image a little, I want to collect various types of hats. Marius: The mobile phone Iâm using right now is a little old. Because I want to replace it soon, I want to buy the newest model thatâs rumoured to be released this autumn! Sou: Since I sweat during concerts, I want to buy a fancy designer towel thatâs a little rough on my skin. There are many simple ones but there arenât any stylish ones of that type!
Q3. Do you specify it finely when you go to cut your hair? Shoi: Relatively. Because Iâm a public figure I have to worry about things like that (laughing). Kento: When they finish it to a certain extent, I go like âShouldnât it be to the nape of my neck? Cut it a little moreâ, I will instruct them in details. Sometimes I also show them pictures of foreigners. Fuma: Of course. I never just leave the decision to someone else. The image that I want to portray in myself, I have to firmly tell them in words. Â Marius: I will leave them do the basics, but occasionally Iâll say âdonât cut hereâ. Sou: âHow much centimetres is about here?â, Iâll say it like that. I have my own image of what itâs supposed to look like. I try to tell my hairdresser exactly how I want it.
Q4. Whatâs the most addicting food to you right now?
Shori: If you eat too much of something thatâs bad for your body, you start feeling like youâre not healthy, so Iâm not biased towards what I eat. As of now, I donât have any health problems at all! Kento: Fruits in general. Especially cherries and Bing cherries. Fuma: I donât eat a lot of sweets but I like to eat only gummy candy when I feel a little hungry. The soft types with grape or orange taste are my favourite. Marius: Chinese food! Any Chinese food is delicious. I also really love the flavour of Chinese cuisine. What Iâm addicted to especially are their sauces! Sou: Grilled fish such as Okhotsk mackerel or salmon. I always make sure to ask if they serve it when I go for dinner.
Q5. Which restaurants do you often go to?
Shori: Japanese ones. There arenât many that I go to by myself but I really like creative dishes that are based on Japanese cuisine. Kento: Something like a cafe bar. I like places where I can spend time with adults and seniors, and where I can eat my favourite omurice and carbonara, sometimes also pork belly with rice. Fuma: Tonkatsu restaurants. From simple shops to a little expensive ones, Iâm always going to various tonkatsu restaurants. Mixing the sauce and mayonnaise in mustard, I like using that as a sauce. Marius: Italian. Because it feels casual, itâs easy to enter the shop. Thereâs also many menus and everything sounds good, so Iâm relieved. Sou: I wonder if I often go out for meals. I like set menus because the balance of the food is just right. I try to gather as many points on my point card as I can (laughing).
Q6. What would you want to eat if you were to have your last dinner?
Shori: Definitely not my motherâs home cooking! But I would dislike anything to be my last~ If you donât know that itâs your last if would be different but knowing that, I think it would be painful to make anything. Kento: My last day wonât come! I was asked the exact same question by an acquaintance before, so I replied âWhy are you making the assumption that my last day will come in the first place?â and instantly striked back (laughing). Fuma: I guess my mumâs stew of cubed fish~ Itâs not very tender but super delicious! Itâs my favourite thing ever since I was a child. Marius: Salad. If I eat it at the end, I want to make something with vegetables instead of meat or fish like in the main dish. I want to eat it with my dadâs special dressing. Sou: Miso soup! After that white rice, dried plum and it would be perfect if thereâs natto.
Q7. What does your family call you?
Shori: Itâs pretty simple, they just call me âShoriâ. When I was little I was also called something different but itâs embarrassing so I donât want to tell (laughing)! Kento: Itâs âKentoâ. Only my grandma calls me âKen-chanâ. Fuma: My little brother and sister call me âFuma nii-chanâ, but mostly Iâm called by âFumaâ. I noticed most people around me call me âFumaâ, I guess I have a pretty simple name. Marius: My mum says âmy treasureâ in German to call me. Sou: Normally Iâm called by âSouâ. Since people often call me by âMatsushimaâ, it feels refreshing. Kenty calls me âMacchanâ (laughing).
Q8. What is the most relaxing place in your house?
Shori: Itâs on my bed. Because I donât have a sofa in my room, itâs normal that itâs my bed. Although Iâm not picky about my bedding, I chose a good pillow since my shoulders are never stiff! Kento: Itâs a place where I can dream, whether it be my bed or sofa. What I dream about? Of course I dream about spending time with you âȘ Fuma: My bed. Although I feel a little guilty about lying down on our family living room sofa, if I lie in my own bed to whine I will be excused (laughing). Marius: The living room sofa. Because itâs huge so I can sleep on it, I often take a nap there. Itâs the best because there are many big fluffy cushions! Sou: The toilet! I like narrow spaces and if the seat is warm as well I feel relieved (laughing). I play with my phone there and just take things slowly without even noticing.
Q9. Do you have any habits before sleeping?
Shori: Watch movies and foreign dramas. I just waste my time away until I fall asleep. Kento: I charge my phone. I would feel uneasy if I donât charge it until itâs completely full. Actually it seems like my battery lasts longer if I only charge it until about 94% (bitter laugh). Fuma: I donât have any. I donât even prepare for tomorrow. I think tomorrow about tomorrow (laughing). Marius: I take care of my skin. I donât do too much, after taking a bath I just apply face lotion and a serum, but itâs also a habit to put on body cream before I go to sleep. Sou: I donât have any. After doing muscle training and taking a bath I crave to drink milk though (laughing)!
Q10. Do you believe in ghosts?
Shori: I feel that compared to the past I believe in them about 40% now. Kento: I believe. Unfortunately I havenât seen any though. I believe that there is a superior guardian deity following us but because it rejects ghosts, you cannot see it (laughing). Fuma: I donât believe. I donât have anything against people who do believe in it and I indeed think that there is something like a âspiritâ but itâs hard to believe that they come in the form of a ghost. Marius: I believe. There have been a few times when I felt them as a child, I have also seen them. Thatâs why I donât feel like theyâre âscaryâ anymore! Iâm used to them (laughing). Sou: I believe. In a popular place where âghosts appearâ, my family has seen them but only I didnât. I donât want to be scared but I would like to meet my pet dog Muku who went to heaven...
Q11. Which junior are you paying attention to at the moment?
Shori: Tokyo B Shounenâs Sato Ryuga! Since we have the same last name I wonder if he will follow my path~ (laughing). Iâm just joking but I feel like he will be good in the future. Kento: All of Johnnyâs Jr. Since everybody is always working hard and because weâve walked the same road, I totally understand their efforts. Fuma: Kishi (Yuta). Even if he makes mistakes I cannot hate that guy, heâs just genuinely cute (?). Even though he has a comedic character (laughing). But his face is also turning cool so I look forward to the future. Marius: Vasayegh Wataru whoâs a hafu like me. I wonder how tall he will grow? Sou: Two juniors that look like my little brothers! They were also backdancing for Summer Paradise, itâs Murakami Maito Raoul and Miyazaki Emirio. Theyâre so cute! I was playing a lot with them in the dressing room (laughing).
Q12. Where do you want your first date with a girl to be?
Shori: Although itâs clichĂ©d, I want to go to an amusement park. The attraction I want us to go to together is the haunted house! When my partner gets scared...I want to see that (laughing). Kento: First I want to see a movie. While watching, I can stay next to her the whole time, then since weâve seen the same movie, we can have a conversation about it that will blow us away. Fuma: A festival with a wide space and great view, I think it will be easy to hold a conversation there. Marius: I want to go to an aquarium. Thereâs a romantic mood and itâs perfect for a first date? I want to see the jellyfish together! Sou: The amusement park is a place where we can have the most fun. While weâre waiting in line and she says âah itâs so hotâ, I can go and buy her juice!
Q13. How far can you do matching clothing with your girlfriend?
Shori: If Iâm told to do something I would do everything but I would not walk around the city in matching clothes! Although if thereâs something like an event it would be fine, we can become twins (laughing). Kento: To go out in a matching outfit, I wonder if I have a little courage to do that (bitter laugh). But I donât dislike it, Iâd enjoy having a cute matching sweatshirt to wear at home. Fuma: Itâs impossible for me when it comes to clothes! About accessories... I canât do that either. Thinking about it, I guess I can only match our phone models~ Â But of course we canât match our phone cases (laughing). Marius: I think if itâs a hat or pants. It might be nice if we choose our shoesâ brands and design together. But wearing matching shirts might be a little embarrassing (laughing). Sou: Iâm okay with anything. Clothes and shoes and even the whole outfit! When I did the concert with Marius, I saw some fans in matching outfits and thought it was really cute.
Q14. Tell us some kind words so your long distance relationship girlfriend doesnât feel lonely!
Shori: (I donât want a long distance relationship...) Iâm sorry for making you feel lonely. Kento: I will teleport to your place right away. Fuma: Next time letâs go to **. Until then let us both do our best. Marius: Itâs okay because youâre always in my heart! Sou: (very manly) You will always be in my heart, okay?
Keep in mind I am not a native speaker therefore there might be mistakes in my translations. Also Iâm not exactly translating word for word. Feel free to correct me in my ask box any time you want, Iâd appreciate it! I apologize if someone already translated something before me and I didnât notice, I hope you donât mind.

Camera Shy (Part Three)
Summary: Â AU. Jughead is an aspiring photographer. His final project requires him to shoot nude photos of someone who inspires him. With no one else to ask Jughead asks Betty. Insecure of her body Betty is quick to shoot the idea down, until Jughead reminds her that she owes him. - Bughead leading to eventual smut.
Part One   Part Two  Â
Read on AO3 here
As expected here is a new chapter! Iâm so tired but it was so worth staying up for. Thank you so much for all the support and interest in this. Enjoy!
Betty wakes up to the sound of footsteps in the hall. She opens one eye and groans, wondering why sheâs asleep on the couch instead of in her bed. Attempting to lift herself up she winces and lies back down. Her head is throbbing, and underneath her blanket sheâs wearing nothing but her underwear.
âGood morning sunshine,â Jughead says, walking past the living room and into the kitchen. Betty hears him open the fridge, suddenly realizing just how dry her mouth is. Before she has the chance to ask, Jughead enters the living room and places a water bottle on the coffee table, along with a bottle of aspirin. âIn case you need this.â
Betty smiles gratefully. When she reaches for the water the blanket shifts, exposing Bettyâs chest and stomach. For a brief moment sheâs embarrassed, but the memories of the night before resurface like a distant dream. The wine, the pictures, agreeing to do the photoshoot. She looks up at Jughead, whoâs already retreating back into the kitchen. âThank you,â she croaks, her lips are chapped and her mouth tastes like something died inside. Â Begrudgingly, she makes herself get up. Wrapping the blanket around herself, she grabs her clothes from floor and heads into the bathroom.
She returns a few minutes later, dressed and feeling more like herself. She folds up the blanket and throws it over the back of the couch and joins Jughead in the kitchen.
âWhat do you want for breakfast?â he asks, digging into his leftover Chinese food, Lo Mein noodles dangling from his lips.
Betty glances at the clock, shocked she let herself sleep for so long. âPopâs serves all day breakfast. And Iâm craving some French toast.â
Jughead smiles and puts the Lo Mein back in the fridge. âLet me go grab my coat.â He reaches for the beanie he left on the counter the night before and shuffles into his wool lined jean jacket. The only time Betty ever sees Jughead rush is when he knows food is on the horizon. She smiles to herself and puts on her jacket and shoes, following Jughead out the door.
The walk to Popâs is quick. Overnight another few inches of snow had fallen. What should be spring air is crisp and uninviting, but at least the snow subsided and the sun is shining. Thankfully, Popâs isnât too busy and theyâre able to slip into their favorite corner booth.
âHow did you sleep?â Jughead asks Betty as his eyes quickly scan the menu, already knowing what heâs going to order.
âLike a log.â Betty replies. Their waitress comes over and asks what theyâd like to drink. âIâll have a coffee and a glass of water please.â Jughead orders the same and returns to his menu.
âYou fell asleep on the floor, you know. I picked you up and put you on the couch. You were out cold.â Jughead laughs, setting his menu aside, letting the waitress know heâs ready. Betty blushes, fully embarrassed by her crazy wine drinking ass. Jughead must think sheâs nuts.
Betty apologizes as the waitress walks over. Jughead orders the Country Boy breakfast, complete with 3 eggs, two pieces of toast, 4 slices of bacon or sausage links (Jughead opting for two of each) and a side hash browns lathered in butter and topped with grilled onions. The waitress surveys Jughead with wide eyes and thin lips, undoubtedly wondering the same thing as Betty. Where does the lanky dark haired boy put it all?
Betty settles for French toast with a side of fresh fruit, ordering an orange juice as well. âSomeoneâs thirsty,â Jughead notes, looking at her half empty mug of coffee and her empty glass of water.
âJust a little dehydrated.â Betty sighs. She hands over her menu to the waitress and sits back, impatiently waiting for her food.
She and Jughead make small talk, neither one mentioning the night before. Like kids, they flip over the paper placemats and play hangman and tic-tac-toe until their food arrives.
Bettyâs stomach lurches, rumbling and grumbling when her French toast arrives. She unwraps her silverware and dabs some butter on the bread, before dousing the fluffy, powder sugared toast in maple syrup. Taking a bite she moans, savoring the sweet flavor on her tongue.
Halfway through the meal Jughead speaks up. âSo I think we should leave the apartment around three, so I can set the studio up in time before our shoot.â
His comment catches her off guard. Betty swallows and takes a sip of her orange juice. âWhat? You booked the studio for this afternoon?â She looks down at her French toast, losing all the appetite she had for the abundance of sugary carbs and starts spearing the fruit in the bowl beside her.
âYeah.â
âBut how? I only agreed to this little plan last night.â The waitress comes by and fills Bettyâs cup. Betty thanks her as walks away.
Jughead mumbles something under his breath, sounding a lot like âFuck.â The heat rises in his cheeks and he opens his mouth to speak. âAbout that, I booked the studio two weeks ago. Iâve known about this assignment since the end of February. Iâve just been too chicken shit to ask you. Thatâs why I made it seem so important yesterday. Iâve been running out of time.â
Betty drops her fork, falling to the table with a clatter. She reaches for her newly refilled glass of water and twirls the straw around the edges. Her toe taps incessantly against the tiled floor, and she checks the time on her phone. She thought sheâd have days to prepare, not hours. She had to go home, she had to shower, she had to shave. Her legs were furry creatures, hibernating in the winter weather and she couldnât remember the last time sheâd plucked her eyebrows. Sheâs starting to panic as her stomach clenches. Again, Jugheadâs timing is always the worst.
âYou couldnât have told me this sooner?â Betty finally says, tugging on the neckline of her sweater uncomfortably.
Jughead shrugs sheepishly, refusing to meet her eyes. âI was afraid to ask. Iâm sorry Betts.â He pauses, gathering his thoughts before speaking. âYouâll still do it, right? Because if not, at this point Iâm going to have make this project a set of awkward, naked selfies.â
Betty laughs. âNow those I wouldnât mind seeing.â She reaches for his hand across the table and caresses it gently. âIâll still do the shoot Jug. But next time, please give me a warning at least a week in advance. I need to go home prepare.â Betty slips out of the booth, leaving Jughead to take care of the bill. âOh, and please have her box up my French toast, Iâm definitely finishing those later.â
Betty jogs home, hoping it will help burn a few of the calories sheâd just consumed. The pavement is hard beneath her feet; all signs of ice from the day before melted away under the sunâs shining rays. When she reaches the apartment sheâs short of breath and sweating. Hastily, she slips off her shoes and texts Ronnie.
Betty: The little fucker didnât tell me the photoshoot was today. Help me get ready? Iâm hopping in the shower now. Come by in a half hour?
Ronnie replies almost instantly.
Ronnie: Okay! Youâll be such a smoke show when Iâm done with you!
Betty tosses her phone on the counter and heads for the shower, ignoring the coiling feeling in her stomach.
By the time Bettyâs finished Jughead is already home. The clock on the wall in the hallway reads 1 oâclock. She has just a little over two hours for Ronnie to help doll her up. With a towel wrapped around her, Betty passes Jugheadâs room on the way to her own. âYou know you could just start walking around naked now.â Jughead calls through his open door.
Betty stops in her tracks and peers into his room. âYou wish Jughead.â
âItâs not like Iâve never seen it before.â
She holds the towel tighter around her body. âWhat are you talking about?â
Jughead grins smugly. âRemember back in high school, when I lived with Archie for a few months?â Betty nods, already dreading where this is going. âWell Betts, you really shouldâve kept your curtains closed more often.â
âWhat did you see?â Sheâs beginning to drip onto the wood.
âA lot of side boob. But donât worry; it was very tasteful and pleasing to the eye. Fifteen year old me really appreciated it.â
Betty groans and stomps her feet the rest of the way to her room. Behind her back she retorts, âYou know, I can still back out of this. Itâs not like Iâve signed a contract.â She closes the door forcefully behind her. At least he was being honest.
To help her get ready Betty puts on some mood music to help her relax. She pulls on robe when she hears a knock on her door. âItâs open,â Betty says, reaching for her brush.
âHey babe,â Ronnie waltzes in as if she owns the place. She turns up the stereo and grabs the brush from Betty. âI promise to make you beautiful Betty,â she says mimicking from Jugheadâs voice. âHeâs so gone for you, how can you be so blind?â
Betty rolls her eyes and winces as Ronnie drags the brush through her hair, showing now mercy. âYou read too much into what Jughead says.â
âNo, I just know when a guy is head over heels in fucking love with you. Back when I lived in New YorkâŠâ Betty drones her out, focusing on the music as Ronnie plays with her hair. ââŠyouâre not even listening to me, are you?â Betty shakes her head, guilt displayed on her face. âFine, I wonât bore you with the glamorous lifestyle I used to live. Letâs talk about you and Jughead instead.â
Betty purses her lips. âIâd rather not.â
âCome on Betty, you canât deny heâs dreamy in a Heath Ledger meets Leonardo DiCaprio kind of way.â
Bettyâs lips form a straight line, refusing to speak. Ronnie finally drops the subject and plugs in her hair dryer. Betty sings along to the radio while Ronnie fluffs and primps her hair. Thereâs no wonder she ties it back every day, having to put in actual effort would take way too long.
Around two-thirty Jughead peeks his head into the room, a hand covering his eyes. âAre you ladies decent?â
âYeah,â Betty says, and he walks right in.
âOkay. Well I just wanted to let you know Iâm going to head over there now. I want to take the chance to get everything ready. You know where the Fine Arts building is, right?â The blonde nods. âGood. Itâs on the third floor, Room 347. Iâll see you there.â Jughead retreats from the room, knowing when to take his exit.
Another half hour flies by and Ronnieâs just finishing up the final touches with her makeup. She had a knack for using neutral tones to make Bettyâs beauty more natural and alluring. âYouâre all set. Thank goodness we donât have to worry about a wardrobe. I would have needed a full 24 hours to set that up.â
Betty sits back and admires her reflection in the mirror. She plays with her curls, gently twirling them around her fingers. âWow Ronnie.â
âI know, itâs a gift.â She spins Betty around in her chair. âNow you listen here Betts. You are going to walk into that studio, and blow that stupid beanie off his head. Seriously, let me know what it feels like to run your fingers through his hair. I wonder what sort of conditioner he uses? His hair always looks so soft.â
âRonnie! Iâm not going to run my fingers anywhere near Jugheadâs hair, or any other part of his body for that matter!â Betty cries. She tosses her hair back in a ponytail and grabs her jacket and keys. âOkayâŠwish me luck.â
âBuena suerta sweetie. You better tell me everything.â
âI will, donât worry.â
Betty walks with her hands in her pockets, her mind buzzing with anticipation. Sheâs nervous and excited and terrified all at once. The whirlwind of emotions makes her feel dizzy and light headed. Sheâs donning a casual sweater and jeans, not bothering with underwear, knowing she wonât need it where sheâs headed. In her bag she has a robe Ronnie let her borrow, warning her Jughead will lose his shit when he sees her in it.
With every step closer she gets her heart beats faster. She struts into the Fine Arts building with unsteady knees and shaky hands. Locating the studio Betty sneaks inside, shutting the door softly behind her.
The room is a lot smaller than she imagined. One wall is nothing but a mirror, with a barre wrapped around it. To the left thereâs a small stage with a singular stool. Jugheadâs standing there, messing with the lens on his tripod while another camera hangs from a strap around his neck. Two spot lights center in on a plain white black drop. Off to the side thereâs a folding screen for her to change behind.
Too wrapped up in his magic, Jughead doesnât hear Betty approach him. She taps him on the shoulder, almost startling him to death. âBetty, youâre here.â
âWere you afraid I wasnât going to come?â she asks, swaying from side to side, unable to stand still.
âN-No of course not. Please, make yourself comfortable. You can, err, change over there.â He directs her towards the screen.
Betty disappears behind the screen, exhaling slowly, trying to steady her breath. âHere goes nothing,â she sighs. She undresses precariously, taking her time with each article of clothing. Once sheâs done she takes a minute to regain her composure, ready to walk out and face the music.
ê°
Jughead forces down a swallow, watching with lidded eyes and fervent excitement as Betty steps out from behind the divider, wrapped in nothing but a sheer, floral robe. Her hair is down, tumbling in waves surrounding her face. Everything about her is enchanting, luring Jughead in. Sheâs a drug and heâs an addict, craving every inch of her skin beneath his fingertips.
The gleaming lights illuminate her skin, bringing to life a vision of Betty he never imagined could be real. Shadows enlighten her features, accentuating her hallowed cheeks and lavish lips. She looks at him with distant eyes, hugging herself and continuously biting her lip.
Jughead takes his first picture. Sheâs nervous. Her fists clutch onto the robe around her, wishing she could disappear into the shadows. âHow do I look?â She whispers.
Jughead can barely breathe; barely speak as Betty stands before him. The words flow from his mouth without even thinking. âFlawless.â He searches for oxygen, hoping to clear his head before continuing. âNow let the robe fall off your shoulders, but continue to hold it the way you are.â
Betty does as sheâs told, the thin fabric slipping slowly from her shoulders. She tosses her hair over her back and turns her head to face him. He snaps another photo, the flash resounding in the tiny studio.
Jughead walks away for a moment and moves to the corner of the room. He bends down and pops a CD inside an old boom box, letting the music fill the room softly; anything to help distract him from the palpable tension between them.
âI love this song.â Betty tells him with quivering lips. When Jughead turns around the robe is lying in a limp puddle on the hardwood floor. He steadies his quaking knees as he walks back towards her. A piece of dark, unruly hair falls in his face and he tucks it back into the beanie. He needs to focus.
âIâm beginning to think you love every song, Betty.â She smiles coyly, dropping her arms from around her chest. Her breasts rise and fall with the beat of every breath she takes and Jughead canât help but stare in wonder. The way her body curves, he can hardly think, hardly breathe. Her skin is luminescent. He falls in love with the shadows she creates. From head to toe he examines her body and all the dazzling qualities it possesses.
Her hair, he wants to get lost in it. Her eyes, he wants to search until he finds her soul. Her lips, he wants kiss, breathing her in as if sheâs the only thing he needs to survive. Her collar bones, he wants to bite them. Her breasts, he wants to feel the way her supple nipples perk as he drags circles around them with his tongue. Her hips, he wants to hold them forever between his fingers, leaving marks to remind her that sheâs his and his only. It takes all the willpower in the world to tear his eyes away and clear the scattered fog currently residing in his mind.
âDance for me,â he breathes, holding up the camera.
He steps around the room, capturing Betty from every angle possible. At one point heâs lying on the floor, snapping a photo of her from the hips down. âWhoa â I never said you could photograph me there.â But Jugheadâs not paying any attention. He studies the way her muscles move as she stands on the tips of her toes. âHey Jug, eyes up here.â
âBetty Iâm not looking there,â but he stumbles to his feet just the same.
She continues to dance, song after song, wrapping Jughead up inside a fantasy. Everything about her is blurred lines and careless angles. Sheâs free and invincible inside her own skin. She moves through the 8 basic ballet poses, Jughead capturing endless photos of each. Betty pirouettes and spins around on stage, opening her arms up to the heavens and the stars. Â
A new song comes on and Betty sits down on the stool he provided, crossing one leg over the other. She reaches up and pulls her hair off her shoulders and away from her face. Jughead zooms in, watching her movements through the lens. She has daring eyes and playful lips. He burns; he yearns desperately for her touch. For her lips hot on his mouth, his fingers tangled in her hair. He takes one picture after the other, fully aware that heâs taken enough to fill a full photo album with bewitchingly beautiful Betty.
He requests multiple poses of her. One with her back to him, her hands clutching the stool behind her as her hair sways to and fro. Another of her straddling the stool with her lip caught between her teeth. She looks at the camera as if sheâs in love. Her blue green eyes are alight with a fire Jugheadâs never seen before. Sheâs intense and sheâs treacherous, ensnaring Jughead into a world where only the two of them exist.
Hesitantly he staggers up to her on the stage. He manages a few close ups, admiring the strong line of her jaw and the delicate way her eyes flutter every time the flash goes off.
Jughead removes the camera from around his neck and places it on a table off to the edge of the stage and out of sight. âI think I got what I needed.â His voice is low and unsteady. He wonders if she can sense the desire in his tone.
Betty grips onto the edge of the stool sheâs sitting on, making no move to leave. âAre you sure?â she asks.
She draws in her lip, biting tenderly on the abused skin. Unable to handle it any longer, Jughead closes the distance between them. He reaches up, cupping her face in his hands. âIâm sure.â He breathes. His nose bumps against hers softly, just before he kisses her.
